I thought I would share this interesting photo that I took recently. Last week I was at the antique shop where I work, and was taking some photos of some new displays that I had put together in my room. When I came home and put the photos on my computer, I noticed an image in the mirror and enlarged it to see what it was. As it turns out, directly above this statue of the Madonna, the flash had produced an image in the shape of a crown. A crown of light!

Recent Experience With Million Dollar Experiment

Recently I felt guided to join Steve Pavlina's million dollar experiment. Steve Pavlina has a wonderful blog called "Personal Development for Smart People" that is loaded with great self help articles. I had seen Steve's article about the million dollar experiment quite some time ago, but hadn't felt particularly moved to join it at the time. Here's what happened to change my mind and my remarkable results so far!

For quite awhile now I have been waiting for my state tax refund. Our state usually processes refunds very quickly, in fact even if I don't file until April 15th I still receive my refund by the end of April. However this year my tax service made a small error and had to refile my taxes on April 16th. So, I did expect a little delay but certainly not 5 months! Anyway, about 2 months ago I received a letter from the state letting me know that they were still processing my refund, and that it should arrive shortly. I figured that meant that I should have it in a week or 2 right? Nope! Still no check in the mail. So, I started wondering about it and I asked the question "why hasn't this check come yet?" The answer that I got was "the money is stuck, you need to take action" and I would simultaneously get a visual image of Steve Pavlina's experiment. I asked this question several times over the last 2 months and each time I received the same answer and the same visual image. Now, normally I would have thought that taking action would mean calling up the state and asking where my refund was but, the visual for the experiment was provided for a broader reason. As it turned out my guides and angels knew that this wasn't the only money blockage that I was experiencing, and that I needed to remove this blockage in order to get the flow of prosperity moving in the right direction. So, I finally stopped ignoring them and took their advice and on September 11th, I filled out the sign up form.

What's funny is, after signing up I realized that sometime in July, Steve Pavlina stopped updating the sign up form so, I'm not sure that any new names will be added, including mine. That did not deter me however and I received guidance that just taking the action to fill out the form was enough, and that I could track the results on my own. I purchased a small gratitude journal to record my results in and began using the positive affirmation provided by Steve. I actually started receiving checks in the mail immediately!! In fact my refund arrived on 9/21 just 10 days after signing up!! Wahooo!! My results so far are below:

1. 9/11 Received a check for $55 from the Pediatric Dentist & $36 from my tax service
2. 9/12 A friend gave me a free vintage book worth $14
3. 9/13 Found .25 cents on the floor - hey it's money, it counts!
4. 9/14 My best friend took me out to lunch.
5. 9/15 Oops! Forgot to make an entry this day.
6. 9/16 Received a check for $1314 tuition reimbursement!! I'd been waiting awhile for that one too!
7. 9/17 Purchased a slew of pumpkins for $1 a piece, and sold most in my shop for a tidy sum
8. 9/18 Found .15 cents on the floor
9. 9/19 Found .15 cents in the dryer. Got my check from the antique mall, it was up $1300 over last year!
10. 9/20 Received 2 free antique paper items from two old friends to use on my graphics site.
11. 9/21 My tax refund for $666.00 finally arrived!! Also I received a check for $240 from the dentist and I had accrued enough points at my grocery store to get 20% off - I saved $75!
12. 9/22 I cleaned some old inventory out of my basement and sold it to a coworker for $63
13. 9/23 I found $2 in my closet
14. 9/24 I got a free bag of salad at the grocery store, a savings of $4. This was funny, I only spent $11 total, I didn't have any coupons, and I only bought one bag of salad so, it's not like there was a buy 1 get 1 deal, but the cashier said "here's your receipt you saved $4, your salad was free!" I'm still scratching my head over that one, but I gratefully accept it.

For me this has been a successful experiment and one that I will continue. One thing that I found to be extremely important, was to find something to be grateful for everyday, even if it's loose change in the couch! Adding gratitude to the equation, seems to really kick up the energy towards helping the abundance to flow into your life. I heard Dr Wayne Dyer speak about this, not too long ago, on a PBS special. When Dr Dyer finds even a dime or a penny on the ground, he picks it up and gives thanks for it. He explained that the reason for this is that all money is a symbol of abundance and when you are grateful for even the smallest amount, it shows the universe that you are open to receiving prosperity.

2 Techniques to Send Energy Healing to the World!

Here are two techniques that you can use to send energy healing to the world. The first technique is for Reiki healers, the second technique can be used by anyone.

1. Reiki healers this first technique is for you. First print up the photo of the earth above. Next, using the distance symbol, use the same technique that you would normally use to send Reiki long distance to a person. Place your hands over the photo and send Reiki for as long as you intuit is necessary. I like to visualize a pink/purple light coming from my hands and coating our planet. I also like to visualize pollution disappearing, bodies of water becoming more pure, trees growing back etc. Make sure that you use intention and say a prayer of thanks afterwards.
2. This second technique can be used by anyone and comes from Doreen Virtues book "The Lightworker's Way". In her book Doreen states "Another effective visualization involves seeing a giant cloud of love colored in your favorite hue. Envelope the earth in this cloud, and watch it send beautiful rain drops of joy into the ground. Feel the earths joy as it eagerly drinks this loving energy. Watch the plants and animals respond with radiant health, as the ecological system circulates your gift of love" Afterwards say a prayer of gratitude.

Both of these techniques can be done quite quickly. I hope you'll find the time to give one of them a try.

Lisa Williams - Life Among the Dead

The Lifetime Channel will begin airing new episodes of Lisa Williams - Life Among The Dead, on Friday October 12th at 9:00 PM. Lisa Williams is a gifted clairvoyant medium and an absolute blast to watch! Her fun & funky style and her warm personality are sure to touch your heart. Previous episodes have generally followed the same format, as follows:

1. Lisa typically starts out on the street, randomly selecting passing strangers and giving them impromptu readings. Often times they are skeptics, but within just a few moments she has converted them to believers.
2. Next we see Lisa in a home setting with her husband and son, as she leaves for the office to begin her day.
3. This next part is my favorite segment of the show, this is when Lisa does a reading with a client. What I really like about this part, is that you get to see how an actual reading is normally conducted. There's no large audience or stage here, as you often see with most of the other famous psychics. Lisa conducts the readings in an office with typically just 2 or 3 clients in the room at once. Sometimes she uses psychometry for her readings, which means she holds an object that belonged to the deceased loved one that she is trying to connect with. Often times she will actually show an endearing mixture of surprise and delight when the client validates that the info is spot on!
4. After that Lisa is typically shown running errands in town, shopping, having a manicure, getting lunch etc. She then does impromptu readings during this time, and many times ends up surprising the shopkeeper or various customers in the shop.
5. In the last portion of the show, she will either do another reading in her office or she will investigate a haunted location. The locations vary from private homes to hotels to restaurants. She checks out the location and lets the owner know if it's really haunted or not. If it is haunted she either clears, it if she can, or in more extreme cases gives the owner advice on how to proceed.
